This is USGS Professional Paper 599-I,
Geology of the Lunar Crater Volcanic Field, Nye County, Nevada.
Published in 1971, this is one of only a few rare publications the USGS did on behalf of NASA on Lunar geology. It is part of the “Contributions to Astrogeology” series of professional papers. This 22-page book comes complete with the original geologic map, and discusses the geology and geomorphology of this readily studied terrestrial site. The study examines a relatively  recent basaltic volcanic field in Nevada with a view toward determining relative age relations from the physical characteristics of the craters, flows, and other features. The purpose of studying this area was because of the similarity it bears to some features of the moon.
A quote from the abstract in this volume really helps tell what it’s all about: “All the features in the Lunar Crater volcanic field have analogs on the moon. Features on the moon interpreted as maars may have details of structure and composition similar to Lunar Crater itself. Erosion on the moon, probably caused by impact of small particles and attendant downslope slumping of material appears to be grossly similar to the erosion of the cinder cones in the Lunar Crater volcanic field, where removal of material by streams is at a minimum.”
As comparatively recent eruptive features are preset on the moon as well, this study provided important context for the Apollo missions and contributed in significant ways to our understanding of the evolution of the Moon. Among other things, methods for determining age relations between neighboring cinder cones were devised. This study was essential to interpreting features on the moon and as such it has a special place within the literature relating to the Apollo program. It is a credit to the many great scientists that worked on the project, and forms a unique part of the history of the program. This is a rare opportunity for collectors of Apollo program literature and memorabilia.
