Proponent 897-A BMX Rear Brake Caliper – New Old Stock
An authentic rear brake caliper from the early/ mid 90s BMX era. Proponent brake calipers were found on many of the popular GT and Dyno bikes ridden during that beloved and heralded time in BMX history. This caliper features a quality dual-pivot design, thus offering a superior braking performance over single-pivot calipers.
We recently found a limited supply of these brakes in our warehouse, still in their original OEM shipment box, with each rear brake still in its original OEM packaging– never before installed or ridden! The box was actually stamped with a production date of December 15, 1994, thus ensuring these as original components and not reproductions. A great opportunity to restore a prized Dyno or GT with a new, genuine brake from the 90s.
